Where to buy uniform Labels/tapes Bargains
Most schools require your child to wear uniform. Many schools have now introduced more sensible and practical clothing such as polo shirts, sweatshirts and trousers for girls. However, it's not always easy to find the right colour or style in the high street.
Usually your school will sell any school branded items, such as hats, sweatshirts and book bags - or they will advise you where to find them. Generic items in the school colours can be bought on the highstreet from chain stores or specialist shops - or on the internet.
BHS, Littlewoods, Marks & Spencer, Peacocks and Woolworths usually sell basic items of uniform in the colours of local schools. Shop early as they seem to sell out quickly, or buy online - M&S have a good delivery service www.marksandspencer.co.uk or you can order by phone until 19th September: 0845 6031603.
Check your local directory to find out your nearest specialist supplier - they usually stock everything you will need and hold more stock and sizes.
The Clive Mark Group have a comprehensive website www.clivemark.co.uk. They also sell personalised labels - woven and adhesive. Generally, the online uniform suppliers seem to have confusing websites and tend to be more expensive.
We have found 4 companies who supply personalised uniform and equipment labels:
www.clivemark.co.uk - woven, iron-on and adhesive labels - they also sell a variety of allergy patches.
Simply Stuck - all sorts of labels to stick on anything.

www.easy2name.com - innovative white iron-on labels for dark clothes
www.eze.co.uk - a range of styles and types of label
www.mynametags.com- ?9.99 for 75 iron-on and 75 stickers
- Most schools sell off uniform regularly - it's usually donated by pupils leaving or growing out of it or from the lost property boxes. Some of it can be realtively new and will be very cheap! It's a good way to buy blazers and those items which get less use.
