EASY KEBABS

kebab

These are fantastic.  You will need:

  • 4 wooden or metal kebab skewers (we recommend cutting off the sharp end of the wooden ones and always supervising the meal!)
  • 3-400g turkey mince (or whichever mince your children enjoy)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1 crushed garlic clove (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons chilli dipping sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • squeeze of lemon juice
  1. mix the ketchup into the mince, add salt and pepper as required
  2. squeeze the meat mixture onto the kebab skewers like a sausage on a stick
  3. place the kebabs in an oven proof dish
  4. mix all the other ingredients together and brush all over the kebabs
  5. bake in a moderate oven for 20-25 minutes (depends on size of kebab)
  6. serve over rice or with any potato item

Other great meals featuring below for members:

  • a very quick, healthy & homemade nuggets and chips
  • mini toads in the hole
  • child-friendly Moussaka!  (Ancient Greeks project???)
  • rice castles
